Condolence From: Mary and Bruce Chaffey
Condolence: We remember Mrs Healy working at the library. It seemed to us as children that her and Mrs Myrick knew everything in every book. She was a lady in every sense of the word.

Condolence: To Paul & Family,
Mrs. Healy was a part of my childhood, I remember her gentle voice. We, Hollohans, sat in the pew across from the Healy's at St. Joseph's for many years. They were a beautiful couple. Paul, I thank you for always giving her a smile. We will not forget that generation, they taught us kindness and respect. A life well lived.

Condolence: Philip & Kathy and family,
Your Aunt Mary will always be remembered not only as the ever helpful town librarian but as a wonderful person. In the early days of Gander my dad Ed worked with Mary's husband Frank at the airport weather office and were friends. My mother still speaks fondly about them. May she rest in peace.

Condolence From: Mary Hinchey
Condolence: I have many very fond memories of Mrs. Healy at the 'old' Gander Library. Long before the technology of computers and Google and Wikipedia, a child growing up in Gander depended on the 'search engine' known as Mrs. Healy. Whenever I had a project to complete for school or Girl Guides, she would instantly point me in the right direction for all my research needs. She shared her love of children's literature with all of us and many an hour was spent reading quietly in her company at the library. She was a true lady in every sense, always so patient and kind. Rest in Peace, Mrs. Healy, and know that you played a major role in the lives of so many natives of Gander. XO
