In the eyes of her devoted nieces and nephews, Aunt Mary was an ever present loving, caring model of decorum and grace. Always ready with her wisdom, humour and charm, Mary’s doors were crossed frequently by her extended family, over the decades and generations. At her 100th birthday celebrations on May 12, 2016 she greeted every well wisher by name and shared a joyful smile and conversation with them all. Mary was a role model of highest virtue and commitment to her family and community. As one of the first librarians in the newly formed community she guided many young minds with her supportive nature and love of books for over twenty years. She will be fondly remembered and missed by all those she touched in her 100 years. To leave an online condolence please visit our website at www.staceysfuneralhome.ca.
