Passed peacefully away on Friday July 29, 2016 at the James Paton Memorial Health Care Centre Herman George Francis at the age of 78 years, 3 months. He was predeceased by his parents Lunzo & Harriett (Payne) Francis, sister Phyllis (Francis) Broderick, mother and father in law Mary & Harry Torraville. Leaving to morn with fond and loving memories his wife Bertha; 3 daughters: Marie (Ron), Debbie (Billy), Ruby (Ed); 7 grandchildren: Holly (Shane), Nancy (Steven), Ryan (Nancy), Robyn (Joey), Steven, Kaylee, Jacob; 3 great grandchildren: Shayla, Peyton, Mason also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Family will be receiving friends at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Wings Point on Monday August 1, 2016 beginning at 1 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Tuesday august 2, 2016 at 2 p.m. officiated by Reverend Gerald Giles with interment to follow at the Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Clarke’s Head. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made in Herman’s memory to the ALS Society.
