Although Roy was older and ahead of me in school he was conspicuous for many good reasons. He was a fine athlete who was good at any sport and clean living. Someone to look up to. I'm glad I visited Roy last summer though it was hard to find him in such a contrast to what his deserving self once was. In looking back at our young days in Gander and those fond memories of school, Roy stood tall. My sincere condolences to his family.

While we were in Gander and came in contact with Roy he always had that Friendly smile on his face regardless of what cicumstance he was facing. Roy was indeed one of the most Godly men I have ever known.. he always had a compassionate heart for the church Family and just Loved everyone so much.
