It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Jack Bown announce his passing at the James Paton Memorial Health Care Centre on Tuesday July 28, 2020 at the age of 91 years. He was predeceased by his parents Charles & Elsie Bown; brother Harold Bown and sister Bernice Penney. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his spouse Joyce Bown; sons: Gregory (Verna) of Frederickton, NL., Roger (Bonnie) of Frederickton, NL, Larry (Fern) of Carmanville, NL.; daughters: Evelyn Edwards of Labrador City, NL., Sylvia Harbin of Rogers Cove, NL., Brenda Pardy (Rex Whalen) of Caplin Cove, NL., Pamela (Endre Kongshavn) of Gander, NL., Gail (Kris Ballinger) of St. Catherine’s, ON.; brothers: Robert (Sadie) of Glovertown, NL., Duke (Myra) of Benton, NL.; sister Sarah Chaulk of Corner Brook, NL and a large number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, a large circle of friends and extend family. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
