It is with great sadness that the family of the late Gordon Gillingham announce his passing at his residence on Wednesday July 15, 2020 at the age of 71 years. He was predeceased by his parents Charlie & Effie; brothers: Nathan, Kevin, Scott; sister June; parents-in-law Douglas & Maryann Blake; brothers-in-law: Harry, Harold; sisters-in-law: Dorothy, Elsie and Gertie. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Marg; daughters: Crystal (Ryan Lafleche) of Ottawa, ON., Amanda (Cory Mouland) of Cochrane, AB., Jolene (Justin Abbott) of Rogers Cove, NL.; grandchildren: Ailey, Oliver, Zachery, Sophie, Nate, Lauren; brothers: Don (Barb) of Mississauga, ON., Bill of Kitchener, ON., Randy (Debbie) of Clarkes Head, NL.; sister Joan (Norm Francis) of Clarkes Head, NL.; brothers-in-law: Calvin (Barb) Blake of Georges Point, NL., Eugene Eastman of Georges Point, NL.; sisters-in-law Lillian (Woodrow) Harbin of Clakres Head, NL., Bernice (Dave) Gillingham of Harris Point, NL., Janet (Sandy) Bursey of Fort McMurray, AB., Betty (Ralph) Alcock of Edmonton, AB., also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will take place on Saturday July 18, 2020 with burial at the Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery Clarkes Head, NL. Due to the Covid-19 global pandemic, all services will remain to the immediate family. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Gordon’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
