Obituary for Donald Dooley
Donald Joseph Dooley passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 5th , 2020 at the age of 65 at Pleasantview Towers, a long term care facility, St. John’s, NL.
Donnie was predeceased by his father Gerald in December, 2018 and his brother Phil in Febraury, 2018. They will be waiting for him with open arms.
Left behind, his Mother Elizabeth, brothers Dan and Ron of Gander; Barry of Port Hardy, BC, sister Ruby (Eric) of Nova Scotia and many relatives. You will be forever in our hearts.
A small private family service will take place on Thursday, Janaury 9th from Stacey’s Funeral Home, Gander. With Father William Hearn officiating. Interment All Saints Cemetery. A reception will follow at Stacey’s Funeral Home.
Donnie was born with many medical challenges. Mom and Dad took wonderful care of him for 13 years. Sadly Donnie needed special medical care and was admitted to the Waterford Hospital and years later to Pleasantview Towers. Both facliities loved him and took wonderful care of him. Our family would like to Thank the staff at the Waterford Hospital and Pleasantview Towers for all their care and love they gave to Donnie.
